Black Pastors Seek Attorney General’s Impeachment

WASHINGTON, DC – The Coalition of African American Pastors or CAAP is calling for the impeachment of U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder after he made remarks at a meeting of state Attorneys General calling on themnot to defend laws in their states that do not allow for same sex-marriage. Speaking at the National Press Club in Washington, DC, CAAP’s President, Rev. William Owens says the time for Holder’s impeachment has come. Owens is seeking one million signatures on a petition to the U.S. Congress calling for Holder’s impeachment. The online petition can be found at www.holderimpeachment.com. PA Attorney General Kathleen Kane stated that she would not defend PA’s marriage law that recognizes marriage as only between one man and one woman.
