Today begins our journey as we read through the Bible in 90 days. The first 15 chapters of Genesis discuss beginnings: the heavens and the earth, the inhabitants of the earth, sin, the consequences of sin, nations, technology, and the lineage of our Savior. I am reminded again of the depravity of man as these chapters record how quickly sin permeated all mankind. How we need a Savior!

The holiness of God. The grace of God. The wrath of God. The God who always keeps His promises, in spite of our uninvited human attempts to help Him fulfill His vision for our lives. The God who is our very great reward. Will we trust in Him and wait on Him? You see it all in Day 1.

Welcome to the WDAC blog. We are excited to partner with Haven Ministries to read through the Bible in ninety days. Six team members at WDAC have committed to encouraging each other and you as we read through the Bible together. We are beginning this adventure together on Wednesday, January 31, 2007. This blog will allow us to share our thoughts with you as we read and for you to share your thoughts as well. Let me encourage you to keep a written journal of what the Lord is teaching you each day as you read through the Bible in ninety days. We would love to have you share some of those thoughts with us. Paul reminds us in 2 Timothy 3:16-17, All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work. Let's ask the Lord to reveal Himself to us as we read through His Word together.
