What a blessing it was to read through the Bible in 90 Days. In reading the New Testament from Matthew to Revelation the Holy Spirit revealed to me principles that I had learned from studying the Scriptures previously but had forgotten. He used this reading to help me reach an important decision in my life and I praise the Lord for that and thank WDAC for supporting this program.

I did it!! It was encouraging to read how some of you expressed a struggle with some portions of the Scriptures as I myself experienced but that didn't stop us. Praise the Lord. Thanks for presenting that challenge to your listeners. It seemed as if the grace of God came through even more loudly and clearly as I read larger portions at a time, especially in the O.T. God is FAITHFUL! I must share one special morning in March as I was reading Job (I admit that my concentration efforts had to be put in high gear) but anyway I was reading Job 37 which so well describes God's majesty and when I looked out the window, to my great wonderment all the trees were heavily encrusted in ice, an absolutely beautiful sight. Verse 10 "By the breath of God ice is given..." How thrilling! May we keep feeding on His Word.

I took the challenge back in January to read the Bible in 90 days. I started January 30th because that was the day I heard you at the station were going to start. I just wanted to let you know that I completed reading the Bible through last Thursday. Most days I ended up on schedule or a few chapters ahead; however to do this I took my Bible to work with me and read on my lunch hour and also did some reading in the evenings after supper dishes were done. I felt God leading me to take this challenge and I wasn't going to let him down. Praise God, with his help I did it.

Today I have completed the 90-day Bible reading. Just in time, since I am leaving for vacation on Monday. Thank you for presenting us with the challenge and for your daily encouragement along the way. It was an interesting way to experience the Bible.

Thank you, WDAC, for encouraging your listeners to read the Bible in 90 days. I took the challenge and I am excited to say that I finished my reading today! What a blessing to read the Bible in this way. I must confess that I tried reading the Bible in one year and was never successful in finishing. Although this schedule required at least 30 minutes of daily reading, I found that reading larger portions of the Word at one time was very meaningful. Thank you for being a light through your daily broadcasts.

Many of us are behind in reading, but I am still so blessed for having taken this challenge. Ten days behind is better than not having started at all. The gospels are very enjoyable and encouraging to see Jesus at work with his disciples. I was challenged to think about my response to Jesus had I been one of the 12. My prayer is to receive a more diligent and even child-like faith to trust Jesus as the King of Kings. HE IS! Praise His name! I hope many of us are still continuing on even when we won't reach the 90 day goal. Keep on keeping on...

I used Saturday the 14th as a grace day so I am a bit behind. If you like debates, the gospel of John shows some of that talk between Jesus and other people. I thought of Joni when I listened to Chapter 5 of John. I like John chapter 9. As I listened in Acts how people suffered for Christ, I wonder how faithful I can be when we are not physically persecuted for our faith. As of this writing I just finished listening to Romans 8. There is nothing that can separate us from the Love of God. It looks like I will be done with this 90-day commitment in the first week of May.

I got myself behind but am still pressing on, determined to finish, although it will take me more like 100 days rather than 90. It was a bit depressing through the minor prophets although I don't believe the world is acting any better now. It is so refreshing to be in the New Testament. We are so blessed to have a Saviour! Praise the Lord! We don't need to face the Judgement alone. Jesus is our Hope and Salvation! Praise the Lord!

I haven't written here for awhile, but I am still reading. I am 2 days behind, but I hope to stay on track from here on. I'll admit I got bogged down in the minor prophets. In some of them there was not much hope because the people continued to sin. It seemed that their major sins were idolatry and injustice. Has anything changed!? I especially enjoyed Habakkuk 3, the prayer of triumph Habakkuk sang. "Even though everything goes wrong, yet I will rejoice in the Lord; I will be happy in the God of my salvation. The Lord God is my Strength, and he will give me the speed of a deer and bring me safely over the mountains." (LB) This was precious when I read it some days ago but the words have become even more so as I recuperate from the soreness of an accident that totaled our car but left me without any severe injuries! I praise him who is my Strength!

I finished Matthew on the 10th. The thought is that God is still wanting us to come and He still weeps. The hymns that come to mind as I listen to the gospels are "Tell me The Story of Jesus," "Tell me the Old, Old Story" and "I love to Tell the Story."

Reading the Bible in 90 days has been a challenge, as well as a real blessing. It has also been a lesson in discipline. I found it very refreshing to get into the New Testament. It would be interesting to know how many WDAC listeners are participating in this venture.

The prophets show me that God is just and I am not. Some of the wrongs that were written about many years look like today's news. I guess some will join this blog again when we get into the New Testament.

The thought I had for Jeremiah was that if God changes His covenant with the Day and Night, He would have to change other things then too. As for feeling sad and sorrowful, the book of Lamentations has the right name for it. I am glad that we can find forgiveness through Jesus when we do fail. In this lengthy reading time I also feel God's heart that He wants people to come to him. I also need prayer my heart might remain a heart of flesh and not turn to a heart of stone.
