Call Gov. Corbett To Appeal Marriage Decision

HARRISBURG – Now that a federal judge has ruled Pennsylvania’s Defense of Marriage Act unconstitutional and Gov. Tom Corbett deciding not to appeal the decision, supporters of marriage as only between one man and one woman are not letting up and urging citizens to keep contacting Gov. Corbett’s office to reconsider and appeal the ruling. PA Family Institute President Michael Geer is leading the call. He says the governor, state representatives and senators need to hear from citizens who are supporting biblical marriage and urge them to appeal the decision made by an unelected judge. Corbett has 30 days to appeal the May 20th decision. You can call Gov. Corbett’s Harrisburg office at 717-787-2500. The Governor’s Scranton office is (570) 614-2090. The Governor’s Philadelphia office is (215) 560-2640. The Governor’s Pittsburgh office is (412) 565-5700. The Governor’s Erie office is (814) 878-5719.
