LANCASTER – A new Franklin & Marshall College poll shows York businessman Tom Wolf with a large lead in the Democratic race for Pennsylvania governor. The statewide poll released today shows 46% of Democratic voters still making up their minds. Wolf claims 33% of the poll. U.S. Rep. Allyson Schwartz has 7%, state Treasurer Rob McCord at 6%, and former state environmental protection secretary Katie McGinty has 4%. Respondents say education and the economy are the issues most important when considering a gubernatorial candidate. The survey of 524 Democrat voters was conducted between March 25 and 31. The margin of error is plus or minus 4.3 percentage points.
