PA Child Safety Bill Goes To The Governor

HARRISBURG – Legislation designed to enhance child safety by requiring certain categories of mandated reporters to receive regular child abuse training was approved by the PA House. House Bill 431 is the latest in a series of bills stemming from the Task Force on Child Protection. Bill sponsor, Lebanon County Rep. Mauree Gingrich said abused children should not slip through the cracks simply because reporters could not see the signs of their mistreatment. House Bill 431 now awaits the Governor’s signature.
