LANCASTER – Communities around our region remembered the many men and women who gave their lives as part of Memorial Day. Parades and ceremonies were conducted to remember those soldiers who proudly served, but did not return to their families alive. President Biden said in a Memorial Day address that Americans “must never forget” the price paid by troops who “dared all and gave all” to protect their democracy. As is customary on Memorial Day, the President laid a wreath at Arlington National Cemetery.
