Woman Killed By Train In Aberdeen, MD

ABERDEEN, MD – Officials in Harford County, Maryland say a pedestrian has died after being hit by a train in Aberdeen. Aberdeen Police Department spokesman Lt. Fred Budnick says officials were first notified about the accident around 6:18 this morning by CSX. He says a woman was struck by a westbound CSX train about 800 yards east of the West Bel Air Avenue crossing. She was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim’s identity has not been released. The train was headed to Richmond, VA. Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to call the Criminal Investigation Section of the Aberdeen Police Department at 410-272-2121.
