Manor Shopping Center Carjacking Ends In Arrest

/ WDAC

LANCASTER TOWNSHIP – A carjacking incident at the Manor Shopping Center in Lancaster Township has led to the arrest of a Lancaster man. Police say last Sunday around 3:40 p.m., a person left their vehicle parked and running in the shopping center’s parking lot. Two people were in the back seat of the vehicle at the time. 35-year-old Stephan Frey entered the driver’s seat without permission and ordered the two passengers inside to get out. He claimed he possessed a firearm. The two passengers exited and while doing so, one passenger fell to the ground. Frey put the vehicle into reverse and backed up at a high rate of speed, nearly striking the two. Frey fled to West Lampeter Township where he was involved in a crash and taken into custody. Frey is charged with robbery of a motor vehicle, theft, simple assault, and other charges.
