Suspects Sought For Prescription Fraud


LANCASTER – The PA Office of the Attorney General Bureau of Narcotics Investigations & Drug Control is investigating a fraudulent prescription ring. On July 27th, Quarryville Borough Police received a report from a physicians group that fraudulent prescriptions were being written in the name of one of their doctors. Four fraudulent prescriptions were written and filled at three locations in Lancaster County. The first was done at the CVS Pharmacy in Bridgeport on April 30th. The second was filled at the Giant on Columbia Avenue on May 23rd. The third and fourth prescriptions were filled at the CVS on Columbia Avenue on June 7th and July 12th.
