Help Sought In Identifying Codorus Creek Victim


EAST MANCHESTER TOWNSHIP – Authorities in York County still have not identified a man’s body discovered by kayakers August 28th in Codorus Creek in East Manchester Township. An autopsy was completed and the cause of death is pending at this time. The York County Coroner has not been able to identify the victim. Northeastern Regional Police says the male victim is of unknown ethnic origin, about five nine, over 100 lbs., with a small, thin stature. He was wearing a black Echo Unlimited T-shirt with blue and white script; Southpole “Flex” designer jeans; size 8.5 blue Puma Roma “World Cup” sneakers with blue laces. The victim did have his appendix removed. Anyone who might information as to the identity of the victim is asked to contact Northeastern Regional Police at 717-266-6195, ext. 109.
