State Officials Visit York County Flooded Areas

/ WDAC

HELLAM – Gov. Tom Wolf visited York County to tour some of the areas affected by the heavy rains and flooding. Wolf was joined by PEMA Director Rick Flinn and York County emergency management officials to see some of the areas hardest hit in the region, including Hellam Township where damage to buildings and infrastructure from flash flooding was evident. York and Lancaster Counties have issued disaster declarations. The governor and officials saw the damage from flooding to multiple homes on River Drive in Hellam, speaking with residents along the way. They also toured areas along Kreutz Creek and assessed flash flooding damage near the historic Accomac Inn.
