Rallying For PA Marijuana Regulation & Taxation

/ WDAC

HARRISBURG – PA Auditor General Eugene DePasquale told a crowd of supporters at the state Capitol that Pennsylvania is missing out in more than a half billion dollars per year in revenue by not regulating and taxing marijuana. DePasquale said the money could fund critical initiatives affecting Pennsylvanians’ lives such as health care, education, and help with taxes. In July, DePasquale released a special report on “Regulating and Taxing Marijuana,” which compiled national research data which showed that 8.38% of Pennsylvania adults use marijuana at least monthly, a total of 798,556 adults.
