Limousine Crash Victim Has Local Ties

SCHOHARIE, NY – One of the 20 victims of a limousine crash in New York state had local ties. The limo ran a stop sign and hit a parked SUV on Saturday in Schoharie, NY. Two pedestrians and all 18 people in the limo died. The passengers were headed to a 30th birthday party. One of the pedestrians who perished was Brian Hough, a 1990 graduate of Boiling Springs High School in Cumberland County. He was an assistant professor of geology at at the State University of New York at Oswego. A ceremony for the victims of the crash was held Monday night with over 1,000 people attending at a riverside park in Amsterdam, New York.
